Maybe find someone local with a USB they've used that works (maybe not latest maps...but whatever they have). If the stick worked in one 405 it should work in another. You're a bit far from South Somerset ... but if you're passing through, I've got one you could try. Mike - MPx

hi don't want to be a party pooper but my USB updates came vin locked, so I imagine they all are. I must admit it took over an half an hour to get to 5% updated, and I never stoped the car at all.

yup. I have to enter a code. I bought a new USB stick / code for the new L405. I didn't use the one for the old one as I no longer have it. |
