diesel rear shocks on 4.2 s/c

Hi, I have access to 3.6 TDV8 rear shocks, bilstein OEM ones, part number RPD500760 and want to fit them to my 2007 4.2 s/c is there any reason to not do it? I mean what's the difference between the diesel shocks and the supercharged ?

thanks

Likely the OE shocks for the SC are a bit firmer but if they are worn (the reason for replacing them) then new diesel shocks will still be an improvement. At the front any difference in engine weight may be an additional factor. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Check that the TDV8 shocks aren't longer fully extended.
