Hello all! My AC isn't working in my 2006 Supercharged.

The compressor engages when I press the AC button. I've checked the fuses, all seem good. I was going to try a quick recharge but it looks the the low side pressure isn't dropping when the compressor is on, so the recharge can shows the pressure is too high to add more refrigerant.

Any thing else I should check before I get the refrigerant removed and dive in on a compressor replacement? Any other possible sensors or electrical issues that could be causing it to not work?

I had exactly the same syptoms as you and replaced the compressor. All perfect again after that.

I suspect it was the PCV valve on the compressor rather than the compressor otself, which you can buy seperatly. But the fact you have to remove the compressor to replace the PCV you may as well replace the compressor! Its 19 years old so its done well!

Can you not get the system vacuum tested to see if there are any leaks first? You're going to have to have the system emptied anyway.

Kevin, good point. I might as well see how much extra it would cost.

Phillip, I think I saw yours or someone else's post about the PCV valve when I was doing some searching. But yeah it might be best to just go with a new compressor.
