I have advanced tow assist on my 2019 HSE. I played with it several times with my boat trailer. Aaaargh...Had to fiddle with getting a place to mount the triclops sign, calibrate it in reverse as you point out...... The whole thing was a complete PITA It worked one time successfully. I could never duplicate the effort. Sold the boat and don't need the option now.

Had Tow Assist on last RR tried setting it up but it was such a faff. Could not see any advantage to using my eyes and experience.

Land Rovers owners handbooks are totally unless the videos keep asking me to log in to use them but I cannot find where to log on to view them a waste of time |

Been searching for a good review of Tow Assist 1 but can’t find one that shows someone reversing a caravan using the lines. For example, I wanted to see if it would make it easier to reverse into a pitch. I haven’t set it up as I don’t have the sticker (yet) but it’s a PITA having to hook up the van and play about with it without looking like an idiot. I mean, where do you go to practice. I’ve managed fine for the last ten years on my own judgement, maybe coming in and out of the pitch a couple of times and then doing the rest with the mover but want to be able to get it right in first attempt, or second. tow Assist 2 looks like it will be much better though. |

Spent ages once putting in all the measurements and settings just to try it out of interest, got to the end and it asked for the sticker (which I'd forgotten you need) so all a bit of a wasted exercise really.

I put the (official JLR) sticker on my trailer but found the system could not locate it due to it being too close.... I have not printed it smaller to see if that makes any difference.
