Evening folks. Having run my 4.4 for a couple of months now, recently I've noticed a slight rattle largely noticeable when it's idling and when feathering the throttle. I can only describe it like a bearing that's running dry of grease. It definitely picks up when revved and may continue but the engine noise likely drowns it out at that point. It's kinda hard to pinpoint but I cannot hear it outside at all, only when in the cabin, and it's not noticeable if I have the windows or roof open.

The car has been running fine, so I'm a bit stumped. Any ideas?

Heat shield under the gearbox is prone to resonant rattle noises. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Hmmm.... I don't think it's that as it seems to be very closely related to engine revs. I do however beleive that I've heard that heatshield rattle when I've been driving uphill!!
