Low Battery - Start Engine warning. Definitive Answer?

Hello!
Right, new to all this RR lark - so be gentle.
2011 TDV8. I've got the "Low Battery Start Engine" warning, which I understand from rummaging around this and other forums is not uncommon. What I can't find is a definitive answer as to what is wrong!
I thought when I bought the car - "OK, it's been standing a while at the dealers, a good run will sort this out". But 178 mile drive home and the message is still there.
There is no problem starting - it is instantly on the button - and everything works absolutely fine. Certainly there are absolutely no symptoms of a flat or dying battery.
I THINK the battery is fairly new, although there is no receipt for it in the file which is odd, but the clock and date were wrong when I bought it which indicates to me that the battery has been disconnected recently, (?), perhaps to fit a new one?
So is it:
1) Actually a knackered battery - despite there being no other symptoms.
2) A charging problem
3) The "Wrong" new battery fitted? Pic of battery fitted attached if that helps.
4) That the battery hasn't been "coded" to the car when fitted??

Help! It really isn't causing me a problem - I start the car when I get in anyway - but I'd like to get is sorted out.

TIA
Graeme

Battery on 4.4 tdv8 should be AGM. I would check voltage …approx 14.4 with engine running and charging, around 12.6 switched off.

Next thing to check is that the battery connections are tight. The fact that it is starting ok would suggest that there is no major issue. RR are very susceptible to low battery performance. You will get the message if you watch the TV or listen to the radio for any length of time without the engine running.
If you are leaving the doors open for any length of time I would knock off the internal lights by holding in the light switch by the rear view mirror.

If it wasn’t starting well the issue could be the earth cable on the passenger side wing behind the wheel arch plastics. 2012 tdv8 Westminster arrived Jan 19 gone Dec 23

My L405 did the same when we bought it and drove me nuts. However, after regularly running the car for a few months, the message no longer pops up. I would use it for a few months and see what happens.

If it is any comfort mine has regularly done it from new.
I know the original battery was upgraded to an 019 AGM on a factory recall and I replaced it at 5 years old but decided against recoding the car at the time because other trusted forum friends were experiencing under charging problems when they had recoded.
Now8 years later it still appears if I sit listening to the radio etc without the engine running.
I know the time for me to change the battery again is well overdue but it’s still working fine.

I’m sure that dealers had a fix, back in the day…. Of a software update as the system was too eager to shout Low Battery. I’m guessing most will have had that update by now. I have no further details.

Mine does it every so often.

Gone are the days of having the radio on whilst you wash it…
