Hi, I've just got myself some nice pair of Cibie Oscar spots in crackle black, the LR fitting kit, a neat switch that I'll fit in the overhead panel by the microphone and some Bevinsee 50w 1500LM H3 LED bulbs to fit.

Question I have is for switcheable power to trigger the relay I need to go from the high beam feed line behind the light unit, into the cabin, through the switch, back out to the engine bay to the relay coil and then on to ground.

My problem is that I can find no easy way through the cabin bulkhead to get into the cabin from the engine bay.

Am I missing something, is there an accessible (high up) bung I could use to route the wiring in / out of the cabin into the wiring bay ? I'd reseal it once the wiring was in.

Picture would help enormously.

mictuning and I think auxbeam both do wireless kits which get rid of the need to go through the bulkhead if that helps? 2011 L322 Autobography - a lot of bells and some of the whistles...owner with no idea!

In the past I have used a remote control relay. Made things pretty simple as already had fitted an under bonnet Aux fusebox.

Hi, yes, I ordered similar but it's causing me headaches with where to put it and it not look like it's an add on.

Well me senseless, turns out I've been misinformed and spent a load on H3 LED bulbs when it turns out vintage Cibies of are H2s and you can't get an equivalent of 100w H2 in LED form, I really should have checked that.

Looks like the Mrs car's getting an upgrade.

Surprisingly though, you can still get rally spec 130w Halogen H2s, and not as expensive as you might think which surprised me more, every day's a school day.
