Good choice in the end, if not the experience you wished for having made an effort to expedite progress.

I think companies advertising / listing things as OEM and depicting pictures that are different to what you are offered is a little bit of a shady practice. Once you had made the effort to travel there, if they had been prepared to offer them to you at the same price as elsewhere, maybe you would have made a different decision based on that consideration but, like you, I would have taken my business elsewhere given their stance.

I've not bought much from the various sellers previously, but Island 4x4 did save me lots of £££'s years ago on some heated water nozzles that even came in a LR box and hopefully you will be delighted with your purchase, if not the wait.

A little bit off topic but possibly relevant - I keep looking at their full LR service kit and thinking, whilst it's a lot just for other parts with the LR branding on them, it's much cheaper from Island than I've seen it elsewhere.

Looking forward to the next update when the parts have arrived and are fitted - hopefully you will be delighted at just how much better the front end feels with the fresh dampers installed. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDv8

Never had any issues with Island 4x4. Always found their prices very competative and stuff has been delivered quickly. The issue with parts being claimed as OEM is that the suppliers may still not make them anymore or JLR may have sourced them from multiple suppliers depending on year of production. Suppliers also get bought out and quality gets changed or a company goes bust and the brand name is bought by somone else (Borg & Beck springs to mind). 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Thanks both for your contributions.

The delay isn’t a big deal, putting the extra time to good use.
