After nearly 4 years of ownership, I've decided its time for an upgrade and my L405 is for sale. This car replaced a 5.0 supercharged L322 and I can honestly say it's a significant improvement in almost every way!

The car has done just shy of 80k (I bought it at just over 54k) and during my ownership it has been looked after by RR London, Moore Automotive and Glenrands. At the end of last year it had the major 10 year service at Glenrands (with a bill of over £2.2k) - this is something to bear in mind for anyone looking at L405s of around this age as the 10 year service is a BIG one!

The car is silver over black - while I'm not normally much of a fan of silver cars, I think it looks great. The paintwork is in excellent condition, with only a handful of minor imperfections, and no more than you would expect for an 11 year old car with nearly 80,000 miles on the clock.

The interior is ebony and ivory with piano black finishers and an ivory leather head lining - unlike the L322 the leather headlining was not standard, it was a NCO and it seems like less than 25% of vehicles have it. The leather headlining was something I specifically wanted as I feel its higher quality and more practical than the alcantara. As with the exterior, it's in great condition and the boot has always been fitted with a hatchbag.

Bump - I'd be really keen for this car to go to another enthusiast as she really is a lovely example and would be happy to discuss sensible offers.

The only reason I can bear to part with her is because I'm planning to replace her with another FFRR!

If my insurance company had even offerd a quote I think I would have jumped on this but they said they wouldnt even entertain it dispite me having my l322 4.4 petrol and 4.2 sc sport with them

The insurance situation has got rather silly with these, particularly if you're in London. I've personally been OK with insurance, but it has been steadily rising.
