Unfortunately, noise seems to be there regardless of if the tank is full/empty I thought maybe loose/worn engine mounts but the mechanic insisted they were fine. |

Might be transfer case, it was on mine. Empty oil twice and if you have a gap iid then you can calibrate the case 👍 |

If black oil came out of the transfer case, that suggests it's got very hot in there.
