Not as much fuel but lots more cost!

Mind you was able to get another 10 miles after the zero appeared no bother. incdently my old TD6 used to take 100L and get 600 miles !!

Diesel is prohibatively expensive in the UK..

But work this out :

- roadtax per year in the Netherlands for a TdV8 is € 3700- ..
- diesel is € 1,47 a liter..

I guess that even with cheaper diesel, its a heck more expensive to run a TdV8 here.. Rolling Eyes I-pace First Edition Santorini & 2nd car Mazda MX-30 Advantage red/black

Well, just came home from a Hampshire trip towing the ifor with wifeys 2013 4.4SDV8 and the fuel warning came on as we joined the M4 at Chieveley… The range said 15m left at Marlmesbury, at Tetbury it said 5m left (18m from home)… We clicked onto 0.0m left some 8-9m from home but most of it is down hill! Got to our local fuel station and she drank 92.62L so was really quite low. I believe wifeys has a 90ltr tank?

The issue is, and this really grinds my gears! marlmesbury texaco was £1.58.9ltr 😳😳😳 so I bloody well flat refuse to stop there and get ripped off! Tetbury Tesco (now it’s driven all other local fuel stations out) is £1.56.9!

My local Texaco is £1.48.9ltr go figure! All within 15miles! Drives me mad!

Interesting approach "living on the edge" Craig. I've heard the law about always filling up has been repealed and minimum delivery is now 2 litres. I'd have put a tenner in much earlier and wasted the 50p just to avoid the enormous strain on the buttock muscles over the will it or wont it.... Mike - MPx
