I got the corner of the driver's door jammed on a grass verge and closing the door has unhooked the lowest section off it's seating. The front edge is attached but the rest is unclipped. I don't seem to be able to pull it on, and a screwdriver was doing damage. Is there a proper way to get this back on? Can I use a tool of some sort or does it need to be removed completely and put back on with the lowest part seated first?

There is a single screw holding it on.
You need to get the screw out (which is hidden behind some trim that just pulls off I think).
Then hook the component around the lower edge of the door before popping it back in to the outer face of the door and putting the screw back in.

This took about 15 mins in the end.
A big flat-bladed screwdriver to remove the exterior decorative trim panel, starting at the open-door end, then pull the trim off, undo the Torx screw (T27), lower the panel off, and put it back on from underneath.
The difficult bit is simply lining it up, having the door partially open, without letting the soft-close grab the door and close it (which will bust the end of the panel and the trim. And there's a rubber seal at the front end, suspended by a little piece of plastic (which is tempting to cut , but you mustn't) which has to be pushed onto the front edge of the door and the lower panel, to seal it all up. Again, that has to be done with the door partially open, without the door closing completely. It's a tight squeeze to get your fingers in.
