LR/Jag profits soar

£16 billion of sales went to the rest of the world, accounting for 4 per cent of all British goods exports. making it one of the UK’s biggest exporters.

Shocked Shocked

Maybe they can invest in some decent dealerships now then!

Hard to criticise their business strategy when they're being so successful & enjoying such profits!

Mmmm! It may be coincidental but its also interesting that there has been a 2000% increase in UK car sales to Azerbaijan alone including £43millionworth of cars in January. At the same time a similar increase in exports from Azerbaijan to Russia over the same period. I wonder how many of these are from JLR?

Ha, there's always a back door for gey imports for those not too fussy about paperwork being in order.

JLR already makes Range Rover Velar, Evoque, Discovery Sport, and Jaguar F-Pace in India, you can bet there are little in the way of restrictions on trade with Russia and Russia's satellites when it comes to trading icheap oil for cars.

Just to make things worse, the flagship Full Fat is going to be assembled in India from knock-down kits shipped in from all over the world very soon.

China currently make the Discovery Sport and Range Rover Evoque, you can bet there's a train load going to Russia on a regular basis.

All told, the embargo is just a ruse for fat cats to make even more money on grey imports with dubious final destinations.

They must be making a substantial profit from the replacements for all the stolen ones as well…… 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Instead of building so many full cars, you'd hope they put a few 1000 aside as spares kits.

I hear that there is still little end in sight to the dealeship car parks filling up with cars waiting for parts and undriveable. Fuji White / Jet 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster
