Wales 2003 Range Rover SE Td6 Giverny Green
Hi from west wales, new to L322.

Hi.
I’ve recently bought my old 322 and on the whole it’s been good.
A couple of niggles to sort but we’ll get there.
A lot more comfortable than the D2 TD5 it now sits beside, but a lot slower!
Anyway, here I am over in west wales, finding my way around and compiling a lost of jobs.
Cheers,
Mart.

Welcome. I went from a D2 TD5 that was remapped by TD5 Alive at the time, to a TD6. Ended up having that remapped by JE Engineering. Wasn’t a bad motor.

Plenty of knowledgeable helpful folk on here.

Get the crankcase breather swapped for a later BMW vortex one. Never have to worry about it blocking up then…

Hi, thanks for the welcomes.
I’ll have a look into the breather mod, not something I am aware of at the moment so good to know.
Other than a couple of glitches with the BCM being stuck in transport mode and loads of stuff not working as a result… it’s not that bad. Has a good service history and a gearbox service 2500 miles ago. I may look at getting it mapped, currently looking for a TDV8 to keep it company too, hopefully that will have a bit more get up and go!

Thanks, I like the car, feels luxurious compared to my old disco and I prefer it to my wife’s 4 year old Volvo lol.

Welcome Mart !
The TDV8´s power to haul the 2.7 tonnes around is simply stunning !

Had a D2 facelift and I do long for one still simply because of its simplicity compared to the L322 !
Can´t wait to get my Series 1 registered and crank start that Laughing
