So after my disastrous encounter with MRDS Ltd I’ve now found yet another issue with my car, I’ve got plug and play towing electrics 13pin socket that was working perfectly when it was taken away as towed my tin tent a few days before it was collected, I went to pick a new trailer up and nothing works we tested a brand new board and still nothing, I checked the car and 13 pin towing is enabled, the plug in the boot is fine the 13pin plug is also ok, the fuses and relay in the boot are fine, in the passenger fuse box fuse f27 a 10amp fuse was blown so I replaced this and checked and there is power to both pins, same for fuse f48 but fuse f11 there is no power to either of the pins when ignition is on so I’m assuming this is an issue but not sure why nothing at all works on the tow wiring bloody fuming.

Can you check that the earthed pins on the car socket are in fact connected to earth? Most towing light connections are caused by faulty earths on either the car or trailer 2012 tdv8 Westminster arrived Jan 19 gone Dec 23
