Very likely these will polish out with a medium polishing compound like Menzerna 500 and then a buff with 800.

Agree - they should just polish out. I had the same after someone in a car park caught the bumper and light and the bumper was re sprayed but the body shop just polished the light unit and it was like new. |

Are you sure they are scratches and aren't fractures in the plastic? The rear light clusters have been known for the plastic to get brittle and split.

Yeah defo scratches and quite deep as well. Some of it has polished out but I will have to look at the replacement option to get it back to its pristine condition. _______________________________________________

You can get some clear wrap to protect them once they're back up to scratch, pun intended Fuji White / Jet 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster |

I know it's a bit late for the OP now, but it's really easy to remove the rear light assembly, so that might be easier than masking up. |
