Both my drivers and passenger side front doors creak when opening and closing. The car is MY24 550e AB. It went in to be fixed and now its started doing it again, anybody else experienced this?

The creaking started on delivery back in December, it’s been back to the dealer and they said they had fixed it but now it’s happening again, I have booked it in again to be fixed, I wondered if anybody else had experienced it?

I think its to do with the plastic "vent" trim on the door and the wing. (See my post and pics https://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic67538.html

There is a rubber that runs down the front wing. It pushes the "vent" trim slightly out which then catches against the wing and creaks. It doesn't help that the top edge of the trim is only held in place with double sided tape and the door follows a contour and the plastic trim wants to ping off to straighten itself out. Esp. in warmer weather where plastic and rubbers want to change shape and sticky tape becomes less effective.

I've had it on two L460's so far, both passenger side and I am expecting it on the next one (coming in a couple of weeks). The body shop fixed it for me on the current car by fitting a new trim, and plenty more d/s sticky tape![/url]

Thanks for that update, I have booked it in for a second "repair" lets see what happens
