United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Stornoway Grey

If it's a database error, it needs fixing! I just checked both of our 2010 4.4 TdV8's and according to the official Glasgow website, they can both enter any ULEZ in Scotland.

Have I read the website correctly ref non-compatible vehicles? ie you simply can't drive them in the ULEZ, there's no fee that you can pay?

Edit: Just checked on gov.uk and the only clean air zone that I would have to pay to enter is London (in either car). Drives:
2010 FFRR TdV8 Vogue - Stornoway Grey
2010 FFRR TdV8 Vogue SE - Zermatt Silver

Hi,

Looking at replacing my 2008 Land Rover Defender 90 with an L322 and one of the criteria for the FFRR was that it needs to be able to go into the Glasgow ULEZ (£60 fine if you enter with non compliant vehicle so much more severe than anywhere else!!!)

However had a look at a 2011 model via the Glasgow compliance reg checker and says it is not eligible.

https://lowemissionzones.scot/vehicle-registration-checker

Tried a different vehicle (same age and also 4.4) and that comes back eligible.

Is there a subtle difference in the 4.4 years that would make one eligible and another not? Or just an error on the checker which would need an appeal/correction?

George

I had this when looking for mine using the checker some were compliant and some were not, there didn't seem to be any reason why and why not, I was looking at 2011/12 models. The one I bought was 2012 and is compliant in all ulez zones apart from London!! When I put my personal plate on it it became uncompliant, however, a quick email to the ULEZ department with the screen shot of the vehicle showing as being complaint with original reg on and it was updated to being compliant.

Doesn't give you the reason why some are and some aren't but this was just my experience.

Did you get it escalated to the DVLA by the low emission zones team? I have the exact issue with my 2012 4.4tdv8, I've put my personalised plate on and it's now not compliant with the Glasgow LEZ.

Yes I emailed the ULEZ team with a screen shot I had from the ULEZ checker when it was on its original plate proving they showed it as ULEZ compliant, and the shot of what it changed to when I put the personal plate on it they sorted it. It was the CAZ team at the DVLA who I communicated with. Current

That's exactly what I've just done now waiting for a response. Thankfully i'd done the same and took a screenshot before with the previous plate so hopefully get the same outcome.

Cheers!

You will need council incompetence rather than luck, because no diesel L322 meets the Euro 6 standard Scottish LEZs require.

Just checked my 2012 4.4 with private reg a d it can go in any of the clean air zones apart from London and I’ve used in Sheffield, and Birmingham many times over the past few years without issue they will update the database at some point but if you check before you go and it’s ok just go 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8
