abs error

Hi all
At the weekend did some work including front and rear diff oil change and also transfer box oil change,but now Iā€™m getting suspension fault and when I scan with gap tool it says several transfer errors Big Cry and up to that point had no issues with suspension or anything any help/ideas would be appreciated.

right have cleared codes but they come back (see attached), i think it is something silly (hope it is), battery is less than a year old and tests fine ,it drives fine stops starts no issues and when i clear the codes i can raise and lower no problem have calibrated the suspension.šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø iā€™m still learning the ins and outs

sorry did also mean to say i also have the abs/brake light on as well but find it hard for this to cause other error codes(but im still learning)

There's a likelihood the two can be linked. The clever terrain response control system monitors all kinds of sensors across suspension, engine, gearbox, ABS/traction control, etc. A fault in any system can manifest as faults in others as well if they're not all talking the expected talk at the expected time. 2012 (L322) 4.4TDV8 Vogue SE, RSE, Fuji White over Arabica.
Previous V8s: BMW 645Ci, P38 4.6, P38 4.0, Merc CL500

many thanks ....at the back of my mind i was thinking the same but still getting my head around fault and problem solving on a range rover nice for someone to say what i was thinking ,right better get a new abs sensor dont know if to try after market or go straight for genuine

Be sure to buy an ABS sensor with the plug in the right colour. I had the problem (tested twice) that a sensor which should've been working caused the whole abs system to freakout. The car was undrivable.
On my car the plug was blue and the sensors with a green plug caused problems.

ok right an update on my abs sensor issue ...........i would get the abs light come on soon after driving off ,but it then would go off at around 40 and now its around 70 ,this was a new sensor (britpart i admit) now i was all set to get a genuine one but now im not sure what to do .now i dont know if these needs to be calibrated using the gap tool Confused Confused or they are just replace and go .think i will see how things go get a few more miles done and take it from there very strange tho

not sure about the 3.6 TDV8, but it could be corrosion on the teeth of the ABS sensor/plug. On the 2002-2006 models, this would trap water and corrode leading to a short. Removing the plug, cleaning the teeth (with a toothbrush and contact spray naturally) and replacing removed all my Xmas tree lights.

i replaced the hub ,wheel bearing ball joints and all control arms the hub was de-rusted and when i had the half shaft out i cleaned the the half shaft of rust and also cleaned the reluctor ring ....so maybe some grease was left on the ring or on the sensor
