Looking at purchasing a 2017 3.0l petrol v6 supercharged Vogue SE but only recently discovered this engine was available in the Vogue. Can't find a huge amount of info on it. Can anyone with experience of one let me know if its a wise choice?! Main concern is that is may lack torque?

If it is the P400, 3.0 litre MHEV, we have it in a 2019 L494 and find it powerful and quite frugal (32 mpg on motorway trips and up to 34 on A road - via the App not input/output measurement).

Not towed with it much but I have hauled 2 ton of gravel no issue.

We've had a 3.0 D L405 and 4.4 D L322 in the past and I don't think I feel it lacking 'torques', but always hard to judge what we all mean by that..... It is lower on paper compared to the diesels but available over the full rev range. Never felt under powered overtaking or pulling away.

Presume it is the same beast in the L405...

I have never owned one, i have driven one, once. felt fine rev'd quite hard but then felt very under powered in comparison when back in the 5.0. Just my view but harder to sell on if thats a consideration and the engine would be working harder than 5.0 and 5.0 has a better spec as AB or SV spec.

If i am not mistaken its the jaguar lump which is great in a Jag but maybe not so much in RR. I have had 6 5.0 and all been pretty bomb proof as long as you look after them.

Thats just my view.

Also i think you will find the 3.0 V6 Supercharged is only available in Vogue SE guise.
