After some guidance from the gurus here. Junior managed to kill his 09 FL fatty a couple of weeks back so we’ve bought a cheapo 3.6 TDV8 replacement which is an 06.

He’s in the process of swapping out his aftermarket Android Auto head unit and when he came to swap out the piggy back fuse from the FL to the PreFL car, he found the fuse boxes were totally different.

Would anyone happen to know the reference for a redundant switched live fuse in an 06 fatty please?

UPDATE: We managed to sort it and hooked it into the front auxilliary poer socket fuse.

Switched live and works a treat. Experience is the one thing you don't get until just after you need it.

If ever in doubt, just use the heated steering wheel fuse. This is always switched live.
