I went to kwikfit a while back for new boots and the ‘experienced’ fitter came in to the waiting room to tell me there wasn’t any adjustability on the rear. Looked on his screen and he had it set up to something like an 89 Range Rover…….

I had my alignment done and although everything was green and looking correct it veered to the right when driven, had it looked at again but this time with the engine running and it showed a different reading. Once it was tweaked it drove straight.

With the engine running the car will have the suspension active to level itself. Idealy you would also use a workshop tool to set the suspension in tight tolerance mode preferably after doing a suspension height calibration. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

It also needs half a tank of diesel in it and locked into Tight Tolerance Mode Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Hopefully not a silly question but - what is tight tolerance mode and how is it in engaged? 2009 pre-facelift 3.6 TDV8. |

Continual height adjustment rather than only when it’s +/- 10mm in normal use. Needs a capable diagnostic tool such as the GAP IID 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |
