P615 SV

Just a heads up for those that don't know and are lucky enough to be getting an SV with the BMW P615, it has a run in mode that means full power is not available from the off. Full power will come in during first 500 - 2k miles or so.

If only I had been told when I collected it rather than wondering where a couple of hundred of the horses had gone and a trip back to the dealer to discuss the 'problem' before finding out this is the case.

Its designed to protect the engine until its bedded in, it depends how you drive it in the first few hundred miles, which determines if its 500 or 1,500 miles before it gives you 100%

It's a bit like the new RRS SV Edition One p635, not a lot of people know that it only has 100 full throttle allowances in the engine life otherwise it lunches itself. After that it returns to a standard SV.
