Hello, so just had my 322 serviced, major service. No issues they picked up on however I’m convinced I can hear a faint droaning / resonance from the engine bay behind the passenger side dash area when accelerating and lifting off between 1200-1500 rpm. I’m 100% it wasn’t there before the service. So can only assume it’s down to a new fuel filter or the LH air filter.

Anyone had something similar before?

I know it’s a niche zone but definitely something causing a sound at a particular engine speed that seems to be heard even with music on. Very bizarre! No issues what so ever. Smooth, powerful, no hesitation etc It doesn’t matter if the engine is cold or hot, does it regardless.

funny I have exactly the same thing. Had a front near side lower arm replaced and now there is definitely more noise from the pax footwell. can't work out why yet...........

The splash shield for the gearbox is the usual culprit for metalic resonance noises at low revs. Remove and remount after bending it a bit or put some damping sheet between it and the bracing 'X' part under it. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)
