Fault codes

L405 TDV8 4.4L
Vehicle went into limp mode this morning. Stopped quite quickly and turned off the engine. Left a few minutes, then started the engine but as soon as I select drive the engine cuts out. The following error codes have appeared.
P0273-23 Cylinder 5 injector low circuit
P0282-23 Cylinder 8 injector low circuit
P0264-23 Cylinder 2 injector low circuit
P0267-23 Cylinder 3 injector low circuit.
Is there a common fault that links these faults together?

When was the main battery last changed? If over 4 years then you are probably in need of a higher voltage battery.

Battery is less than two years old. Supplied by the local LR dealer.

Best to check the battery voltage and charging voltage anyway. Maybe you have done a lot of short journeys recently? Or your alternator is poorly? Or the battery is tired although that is unlikely after only 2 years.

My main battery runs 12.4v - 12.9V and charges at 14.3V. The last battery I changed used to struggle to reach 12.6V and often dipped to 12V. Lots of systems struggled on that battery from the absence of stop start to limited interior lighting.

Due to the inaccessibility of the main battery I used a Bluetooth monitor.
