Thanks Rob that’s further than I thought they would reach. That confirms my theory that I would have to buy two in order to get the repair to top of sill level. From what I’ve seen on videos the sill isn’t too bad to fabricate and way better than having to create the profile for these replacement panels.

Well it seems it was inevitable reading this thread but it was a big surprise when I put my thumb through what I thought was a paint bubble. The rot is both sides too. Scary stuff so I have dutifully read the threads on here and it was encouraging that there was a solution in the offing, new panels to stitch in but the trail goes quiet. I don't want to scrap the best car, the most all round competent car I have ever owned

Still not answering the main issue all these panels only go so far the connection to the cill is where the thread dries up. Panel manufacturers leave us short. If you look at the line and length these panels even if your cill is good there is a gap.....the cill element is not catered for that well. |

It looks like these rear wheel arch panels are about 45mm short of getting down to the sill

Way back in this thread wiser men than me have suggested getting a quarter panel and cill from a scrapper.
