That's not the armature, the armature is the subframe which bolts up to the monocoque.

What you've got there is the two parts of the swan neck tow bar Thumbs Up

ok,
from now on the official names for the bit with the knurly knob is the ''bit with the knurly knob''......
...and the bit that goes into the square hole in the range is ''the bit that goes in the square hole in the range''...

Those are both the bits which I need, both of which are in the photo, the armature is the big cross member type thing which is bolted onto the chassis isn't it? Is that what you meant Scarey, or are you just selling what's in the photo? Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining!

So we have the ball bit that doesn't get inserted anywhere and the other bit that gets inserted but don't leave it there for too long after use or it may get stuck. Very Happy Geoff

Well I'm glad mine is out and it will only be going back on when I need to use it.

If anyone has a pin and clip for holding the square section in place and is surplus to requirements pm me....otherwise I'll contact Westfalia of just keep using a bolt & nut

Any tips on removing the Tow Hook - I have the key but it does not seem to do much and the wheel turns with or without the key but nothing shifts downwards Confused

Key should turn about 180deg. The knob which turns has to be pulled out away from the tow bar and then rotated.

If you do that and waggle the tow bar it should drop out.
Thumbs Up
