I have an error code P0481 which is Fan 2 Control Circuit. I presume this is the electric fan situated between the radiators and the front grill/bumper.

Firstly I would like to access enough of this fan to check it electrically. Thereafter I would expect to have to remove this fan.

Do the radiators have to be removed to access this fan, or do I remove the front bumper to access?

Looking at a vid of a bumper removal, it appears there remains a crash bar type structure restricting access to this fan.

I removed the front grill, and there was an electrical connection top left as you look at it. 2 large pins and a third signal pin. I used adjustable pliers to ensure the plug socket was fully engaged together.
