Did you try a price comparison website? Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Just been through this with mine was either getting refused at the outset because they have changed their policy or a ridiculous quote of 3k-6k. Managed to get it sorted at £850 in the end but it was definitely a roller coaster!

Ye, it was quite telling as they were mainly companies that I had never heard before. Lowest quote was £1800, highest was £11,500 |

Whoever thought up the idea of keyless entry on cars needs shooting. Are people really that lazy they don't want to push a teeny tiny button on a key fob to unlock a car and insert it into the ignition barrel? |

It does seem to be getting worse. A good after-market security system should help though? overfinch modified |

Well I am caught out now. Back in a FF after a break and got insured last year for £800. Insurance company wont renew, JLR wont quote and best deal is £5,500. Any one recommend anyone please? No body told me there would be days like these

Yes, I made lots of enquires yesterday. Lots of companies refused to quote. But the cheapest (half what I am paying now) was esure - I found that I needed to include my max ncb. Try the comparison sites that’s what I did.

I suggest you try the comparison websites but it is very location dependant. I recently bought a 2 year old petrol L405, live in Scotland, limited mileage and retired. Hastings direct offered £400 but l do now have a black box on my windscreen. Not an issue for me as the ff is not used for speed! |

Comparison sites and ramp up the excess, if i remember right when I accepted the tesco quote it let me up the excess even more on the tesco site which made it cheaper still. Gocompare were doing a free excess protection thing aswell which sweetened the deal
