Some warranty work done today

Just had the RR in for some warranty work. A number of things sorted out;

Auxiliary heater - changed due to fumes entering the cabin. The dealership also identified a missing part that should have been fitted at the factory when the car was being built
Airbag light - both seat harnesses changed on the underside of the front seats B0020 and B0028 codes noted and the higher than expected electrical resistance was high
One of the rear screens in the headrests needed changing as it had an intermittent fault

Thankfully the car came with approved JLR warranty so it was straightforward process to make a claim. I’ve already sorted out the ongoing extended JLR warranty for next year for ongoing piece of mind. L405 2016 4.4SDV8 Autobiography Corris Grey/Pimento - Current

and lots of other none LR stuff…..

Make sure you check the smallprint. The guy who owned my car before me bought it from LR with the approved used warranty, when he came to extend it, they dropped his claim limit right down to £2,500, but it was hidden on about page 4 of the terms. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8

Hi
Work all approved and completed. It is still under the first year and full purchase value warranty
There are 2 levels of extended approved warranty
One is limited to something like £3k
The second option is for a full warranty is up to the purchase price. This is what I’ve taken for the second year.
Yes there’s a cost for the full purchase value warranty option above the cheaper low value warranty but given repairs are very expensive.
These are expensive cars to repair so I just want to make sure i was fully covered
Regards
