United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Sumatra Black

It's not an AB as it goes, but yeah, under a very comprehensive warranty, and still under 59,000 miles.

May sell later in the year. Just don't want to sell it way below what I know its worth.....

Scotland 2012 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Fuji White

Hi, wall to wall dealer service history means absolutely nothing, it just means it's been serviced regularly by someone who can offord to pay their prices.

Car could be falling to pieces, have you read the RR service schedule, I'd value a car well looked after by a competant enthusist more highly to be honest.

Don't forget dealers are all about profit, nearly all that I have met do the absolute minimum they need to in order to comply with the checklist and empty your wallet.

How many dealer serviced cars fail the MOT in areas not necessarily on the service checklist.

If you want trust, your much better going with a car from an enthusiast that's probably changed the oil more often than needs be, changes stuff when it's worn or looking tired rather than failed and uses a good indie RR specialist on a regular basis for the big stuff.

Just my opinion, and serves me well, thanks Fuji White / Jet 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster

Totally agree.
Hence a wise person would buy mine in due course and not a main dealer skrimper 😂😂 Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

Scotland 2012 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Fuji White

Hi DrRob, totaly true.

Whenever a newbie joins the forum, what do we always say 100% regardless of service history?

Check & replace all oils & fluids regardless of service history.
Change transfer & diff oils soon as you can.
Get a gearbox megaflush.
Remove all the skirt trim & check for rust, Dinitrol, Waxoil or Lanogard the arches, subframes and sills & tailgate at the bare minimum, take your pick but get it done as soon as you can.

None of the above will have been done by a dealer desperate to move a fatty off the forecourt. Fuji White / Jet 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster

I am not after dealer service history, just Full service history. I am also aware of dealers doing the minimum and am not looking to purchase one specifically from a dealer. I’m fact I’d prefer to purchase from a private owner. Hence posting on this forum.

I am well aware a full service history does not mean the car is a good one but at least you have proof that the oil has been changed as advised. You cannot see the internals of an engine so the only proof you have is stamps or even better receipts of work done. The rest of the car can be inspected visually and I know what to look for. I’ve owned my E70 X5 for the past 4 years and have completely rebuilt the suspension including the subframes.

I am not a “newbie” and after only being on the forums for 3 months I don’t think you are in much of position to throw that term around 😂😂

Thanks

Mine has fully documented service history with a second volume LR service history booklet and 2 x A4 binders with invoices.

No doubt yours is an excellent example but I’ve decided that I want Orkeney Grey with ivory interior and I am willing to wait it out to find one. Really I should modify my initial post as I’ve narrowed what I want. Will do that now.

There's one for sale on here that might match what you want, with the exception of the heated/cooled seats. Not sure if you've seen it?

It’s actually the exact thing I’m looking for. But the price is too high for me. I think the price is about right for the mileage but I am looking at 10-12k so around the 100k mile mark.

I'm on the lookout myself.. slightly less money to play with(think about 9k). Ideally black leather with grey, blue or green paintwork. Trim level ideally an SE but have to be realistic! Absolutely must be a 4.4 so happier with a few more miles as long as the history is right.and clearly been looked after.

There were a few a little while back but mostly crap on the market at the minute or poor spec. Shame!
