On my 3.6TDV8 random water in fuel warnings, new filter and diagnostic by main dealers says no water but need new housing for $$$$$. I just unplugged the sensor multiplug with no issues or warnings so job done. 2007 TDV8 VSE

Hi misfire84 - did you use a particular type of resistor? I’m having an ongoing yellow triangle / water in fuel code and it’s driving me insane after changing the wif sensor and filter etc … wanted to try your fix before having to pay out £££££ 😭

The Ford Transit Housing is £30 quid, just remove the harness, its all you need
