Buyers Checklist

Evening guys. I was wondering if anyone on here had ever put together a simple series of checks in an excel sheet or printable form that prospective buyers of L322's could take to a vehicle inspection to make life a bit easier? I'm thinking things such as number of owners, options, what should have been changed when and also from experience what to look for in the history at various mileage intervals(not service, more items that have a high likelihood of failing).

I for one am guilty of getting a bit overwhelmed when inspecting a car and have made some silly mistakes in the past!

Any thoughts greatly received.

No matter how well prepped and informed you are it's still a roll of the dice buying a used L322 ( + 12 year old, badly made and complicated car). If you are not confident in what you are looking at or can't afford to loose your shirt if it goes wrong then buy from a dealer and trust in the sale of goods act that you have 30 days of protection in which to have a thorough inspection and get the dealer to fix or refund you if there are serious defects. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)
