Evening! I'm afraid I can't help answer your question but in a similar vein I was wondering if there was an "accredited" list of inspectors on this forum? If there isn't, IMHO this would be a great idea. |

I’d say a good look over from yourself, plus checking through service history and previous MOTs (for advisories) would be sufficient.

If you are buying from a dealer you have protection for 30 days under the sale of goods act so if there is any serious defect or fail you have the right to return it for them to rectify the fault or get your money back so the best advice is to book it into a good indy for a full inspection soon after purchase. As Greg says you have to manage your expectations if you are paying that little for it. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

Just assume it has a number of faults and you won’t go far wrong. |

I would go for the RAC inspection, or better still, get an immediate inspection by a good LR independent, then go straight back to the supplier and demand they fix any faults which they said didn’t exist?
