i dont know how i missed this but looking through my insurance details i've noticed that the sunroof glass is not covered , windscreen yes, sunroof glass no.

For us with the letterbox sunroof in L322 land to be honest it's hardly worth the worry as you can buy the entire sunroof cartridge for less that £100, and I've changed them in a couple of hours, so for me it just wouldn't make sense given as I have a $250 excess.

looks like a grey area, it says in the policy doc. that sunroofs are not covered but obviously if I were to roll the vehicle I would expect them to fix the roof and of course I would have to pay the full excess as for any other serious repair. Geoff |

that would work but what if a brick/stone smashed the sunroof , would you be able to claim on the main policy?... ... - .- -.

Don't think it would cost you a million quid to upgrade your cover Stan... However, as more and more of these are now in breakers hands, a used item could easily be sourced Stan... |

I'd be willing to pay the extra premium Craig , but its not being aware that the roof isnt covered on my normal policy...
