Ayrton Senna

Not sure now many F1 fans we have here, but i remember the day he died. I was only 9 but remember watching the race from Imola. There is currently a film on about his life which i plan to see this week. Has anyone been to see it?
Just incase anyone doesnt follow F1 but is interested this is probably one of the best tributes to him.

I've been looking forward to the film for months.

I'm hoping the resurgence in popularity will mean the Senna 'S' merchandise will become available again.

Ayrton was a legend. Researching my first Range Rover purchase

Went last night, definitely worth seeing even if you only have the slightest interest in F1.

Well I'm drained! Just got back from watching the film. Amazing doesn't really describe Senna. I remember Senna but didn't really remember the fude with Prost or any of the other crap as i was to young. The film really brought it home how corrupt/biased F1 was back then and had it been fair Senna would have been world champion a lot more and had the world championships his status deserved. Well worth going to watch even if F1 doest really excite you.

Excellent film. Got home tonight and we have been talking about it since. So powerful and emotional. The on car footage is awesome. The audience left the cinema in silence afterwards.

I remember the day he died well. We watched the race but didn't know for sure how he was. After the race I was in the garden cutting the grass when my wife (then girlfriend) came out and said that it had been announced that he was dead. We were both dumbstruck. No longer FF owner but still interested. Present car Jaguar XE
