Hello all,
I am driving a 2008 TDV8 3.6 Vogue, and my rear brake lights (as a pose to light on the dash) are always on. I tried all positions on the light switch knob next to steering wheel, but in all of them the top and two side brake lights are always on. Other position lights come on as per the dial position, but brake lights constantly illuminated.

Checked Youtube and found a bunch about Disco 3/4 and RR Sport having a failed Brake Pedal Switch (blue one).. but NOTHING about the FFRR.. So I thought I'd ask here. Strange thing is that I am also getting some Transmission error / Lowered ride height errors as I drive, which seem to correspond to errors that Disco 3/4 and RR Sports cars get when the brake pedal switch goes..

HELP! Any help much appreciated.

Have you got a GAP tool? Or read the codes and see what it says. Brake light switch must be most likely. 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue

Take the plastic trim off to the right of the drivers foot and you’ll see the Light Control Unit inside, if your sunroof drain is leaking this can cause problems like your having sir… 👍
