It may be a long shot but, if you get some isopropyl alcohol and a toothbrush you may be able to save it. Soak the PCB with the IPA scrub it really well with the toothbrush and another soaking with IPA, allow it to dry in a warm place (on top of a radiator or airing cupboard) and try it again. BMW i3 Electric Car

Thanks, any idea what caused water to get in the first place?

Thinking of using isopropyl alcohol followed by leaving it on top of my dehumidifier.

Water ingress into that area is a common fault, search the forum for solutions.

Good luck with the IPA, it's well worth trying.

Hi, I don't see any scorch marks in the pictures so as long as power wasn't applied while standing water on there you may be ok.

Sure way to tell is sniff the board all over, burnt pcb / electronic components have a very distinctive smell.

IPA and a toothbrush should get rid of the stains, but even if it doesn't at lease you know it's clean, let it dry out on a radiator for a while.

Fingers crossed whan you apply power, but watch closely for any wisps of smoke or acrid smell, you don't want a fire.

I'm not entirely convicned that cleaning it up will make the TV work again, so I've purchased another unit from fleebay, fingers crossed
