I have a 322 and when I bought it 10 years ago on 65k it had a similar issue the dealer replaced the fluid and I paid for it but under the understanding that if it didnt they would reimburse me I had to force them to get an engineer down from the factory who drove the car 200 yds and declared new gearbox all paid for under warranty so go back and shout at them till it is fixed if all the others are saying it shouldn't make a noise then it shouldn't

No, I didn't get it sorted. I tried another dealer and the service manager took it home overnight up the M1 to Milton Keynes.

Somebody else has mentioned defective engine mounts caused similar issues once changed it cured it. Could be worth a look I suppose. I will try the adaptation reset first if I notice no difference then I will contact GAP for software update rather than going to my local useless steeler who I spoke to today.
