The 4.2 SC has a lovely burble but a bit deeper sound would be nice  1988 Classic 3.5 EFI in Green - GONE.

My old 4.2 was fitted with a 5.0 standard factory back box and the sound level was perfect! Sounded fantastic. Try it, there must be loads around second hand these days sir… 👍
