anyone know where this fits just found it

hanging after removing front under trays passenger side 405 4.4

Does look like a bottom bit off the fuel filter ( possibly not though) 2016 4.4 diesel

Yes its from the bottom of the fuel filter. looks like its broken off? The threaded part and rubber seal must still be left in the filter or there would be diesel leaking out of the filter.
