United Kingdom 2017 Range Rover Autobiography TDV6 Farallon Black

Bit of an odd one, but I got a text about the MOT running on my old Range Rover that I sold in 2021 and after googling the plate it showed in the DVLA text (J666PHC), low and behold this thread came up. I know that the car in the photos in this thread isn't my previous RR because of the date they were posted, but the spec is identical and brought back a lot of fond memories!

Judging by your garage saying you have the same car from 21 - present, it seems you replaced like for like. My dad owned that Range Rover from new, I took over its ownership in 2017 and regret getting rid of it, L322s will always appeal to me I think! I'd love to hear that the car was still on the road and if you ever wanted to move it on, I could be tempted to buy it back!

I've got tonnes of photos of it over the years, if that car could talk it would have some epic stories to tell!

Hello mate!

The original L322 on J666 plate was my first one and the one I regretted selling. I bought a brand new RR in 2018 and never fell in love with it, so picked up another L322 in November 2021 from a London based dealer. Any chance the original reg ended in UEB? If so, I have your car. I spent a while looking for a good one and despite some very typical will corrosion this was one of the few that had been looked after relatively well. It’s been very good to me so far and I’ve done virtually every job needed on these, she has been properly looked after. I can assure you there aren’t many that have had as much TLC as mine for the age! She’s now at a sweet 142,000 miles and just gone in for new bushes all round, new suspension components and MOT. Also going back to original wheels with proper AT tyres as I’ve matured with the car Laughing Laughing

Unfortunately I’m not looking to sell, but more than happy to connect with you privately to chat about the car, PM me, and of course keep you in mind if I ever decide to sell! I’m a proper LR geek so any pics/info/stories you have about it would be awesome. I’ve attached a few pics so you can see where’s she’s at now Thumbs Up Jordan

Hi mate,

Yeah that sounds like its her, BD56UEB, she spent most of her life on private plates though. I've got photos ranging right from June 2007 and then the last photo I took before trading in on 17th November 2021 to an Audi dealer in Manchester - so I cant comment on anything between that and when she ended up down south!

We did look after the car really well her whole life, absolutely no expense spared, cleaned in and out every weekend without fail.

I can't tell you how happy I am to hear she's in good hands and being worked on still, brings a huge smile to my face, especially if you're putting the original wheels back on! I have been brought up in RRs for my whole life, both my mum and dad have had them since before I was born, which in turn means the addiction has passed onto me haha!

I'll shoot you a PM with some stories and photos if you're interested and of course I'd love to keep in touch incase you do decide to part ways with her, every time I've seen a similar spec L322 I've wondered whether it was "the one" haha!
