Can’t quite find the complete answer to this. I’m sure someone will know.
Looking to purchase an L405 to replace my L322. I go camping a lot and space or rather useable space is important to me. My budget will allow something in the MY13 to MY16 range and I want the SDV8.
I’m not sure if the answer to the question changes for later yrs.

I’ve noticed on the various specs some have electric fold and adjustment and some have manual fold rear seats. There is lots of commentary about the electric ones but not anything specific on the manual fold ones.
So question is do the manual ones fold any flatter, or maybe even fold up like the L322 ones ….and sort of related how hard are they to remove , the L322 one were easy

I wasn’t aware that there were even manual versions of the seats. I thought they were all electric? V8 or else ...

There is much less room in the l405 than the l322 my electric seats do not fold flat. 2017 SDV8 4.4 silicon silver AB

I have manual fold rear seats. They do not lie flat when folded, or even anywhere near flat! The P38 was infinitely superior in this regard.

It is not good as a loadspace.
