Can I reactivate In Control tracker on a car that's stolen?

Hi all
A couple of years ago my subscription to the in control tracker expired and I did not renew.

The car was stolen last week.

Does anyone know if I can activate the subscription again now such that the tracker will work?

thanks! Current

Hi, I doubt that is even possible. If it were everyone would stop paying subscriptions till the time they needed it and then reactivate it.

Defeats the whole subscription process. Fuji White / Jet 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster

Yes, bound to invoke the middle-digit response from tracker providers, understandably. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

The JLR tracker is disabled very quickly once the car is driven away, the tea leafs know exactly how to do this.
Very doubtful you will get any joy here but it's worth giving them a call for your peace and mind. If you rely on this JLR tracker, then add an air tag with beeper speaker removed as well, it gives you extra time to locate the car before that tag gets located, hence this is why tea leafs leave the car in a street/car park etc and watch for a day or 2.

The L405 and older really need a S5 tracker and a Ghost 2. 2018 SE SDV8 4.4 Byron Blue

Some no quite so practical ideas, but way better than the JLR tracker
