United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Buckingham Blue

Get 2 AirTags.
Disable the speaker of one of them (YouTube tutorials etc)
Hide the disabled one in a hard to find place. Hide the other (with speaker) in an easy to find place.
Done.

Replace batteries when they signal they are low Thumbs Up Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

fear not all you android users cos you can detect apple air tags with an android phone..

you can’t set up AirTags using an android device, but you can use the Tracker Detect app to track an AirTag with Android.

I have first hand experience. I had a month old BMW motorcycle stolen in central London last year. It was fitted with a tracker which was totally useless. They took the bike a mile away, and then removed the tracker. The police found it in the road. I was fuming.

So trackers are worthless on a bike at least. So, my replacement bike has three air tags fitted, hidden in various places. I like the fact that if the thieving scumbags have iPhones they will be warned. It may put them off.

The only negative is the batteries only last a year. But I’ve ordered one for my new to me RR…

Hi,

If mine gets stolen I don't particularly want it back. I love it to death, I'd be heartbroken, but it's replaceable.

If you get it back it's no doubt smashed up, hopefully so much that it's written off and you can rob it and scrap it or keep as a donor.

If it's retuned undamaged your left holding a car that'll carry a Cat X tag for the rest of it's days, you're never going to be able to get insured or sell again for anything like it's value.

My efforts are on stopping it going, but once it's off the draveway, good luck mate, bon voyage, welcome to Albania & never come back.

Interesting position and I can’t help admiring your sanguine attitude 😉
