I've seen quite a few mentions of "deplorable" steps here on FFRR.

Previously, I'd seen quite a few "V ouge" drivers on here and RangeRovers.net. (I tried spelling without the space but the software corrected it to "Vogue".)

It annoys me when watching British crime dramas, that they refer to Land Rovers as "jeeps". At least Vera calls hers a Land Rover. Ron B. VK2OTC

I can accept "meter" from Yanks but not from those of us who should use British spelling. Very Happy Ron B. VK2OTC

Don't forget that in English a meter is also a measuring device i.e. electricity meter, not always a unit of length which of course would be metre.

I don't know what the Americans use for meter the measuring device probably something totally different - but simple. Geoff

I Definitely don’t like defiantly being used or too instead of to, but then again my OCD drives me and especially my wife crazy…. ______________________________

I used to work with a guy that couldn't make his mind up between "they're", "there" and "their" so he just used them at random. Geoff
