We had a fascinating trip to India last year.
A couple of relevant pics…
Firstly a statue of the founder of the TATA empire Mr TATA himself in the first TAJ hotel he bought, some years after working there as a waiter in Mumbai . I guess the guests tipped big !

Tata are really well known for Lorries in India, but seems their JLR ownership designs are being incorporated into their car range which is also a substantial business.
