United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Buckingham Blue
Genuine key erase and re-code

Hello everyone!

I have recently bought a 2006 4.2SC and it was supplied with a dodgy key that turned out to be not a proper one for the vehicle.

It should be the later, fatter, self-charging one.

So I bought two keys off eBay - one is aftermarket blank that is ready to be programmed, and one used genuine. I've read that the used key needs to be erased and brought in "virgin" state in order to be programmed again, so my question is:

Does anyone knows how to do that?

And after that's done does anyone have the full procedure to code them new keys in SDD?

Thanks in advance!
