Anyone who was paying £20k to £30k over list, this time last year, must be looking into quite a deep hole right now. |

The used market is dropping - you can see it using the Autotrader price tracker. I however think prices on their are still not reflective of the ground reality and have some further way to go. And yes there is a "pot". I was directly told that by my dealer when he asked me to keep my order in place for now and to cancel if the situation doesn't ease towards delivery date. |

Tis a bit …. Was intending to chop mine in during November for December delivery. D300 for D350 with fridge. Supply plentiful . Put aside all the other mitigating circumstances, due to the insurance conversation the trade in dropped by about 10k during three weeks, so I eventually binned the idea…. Was really to have the 350, but as I already collected one ticket as the 300 is very lively, I probably don’t need the 350 & it means the need to have a fridge evaporates as the gap tween trade in and new was about 35k …. The fridge therefore being the only real gain from swapping, I didn’t. Maybe( I don’t know) it’s different if you are leasing and via a company and all the bills are picked up. Government contributes! Whilst writing a cheque from savings, it hurts! So if my insurance comes in too silly high in August, may well cut my losses and run. Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc He who dies with the most toys wins... |

D300 and D350 difference is just software/calibration, apparently. Quite a few places offering it. |

It’s expensive enough to insure a L460 without tuning / modding it! MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

Just by way of update, I ended up buying the car. They gave me a super deal with a chunky discount that made all the sums add up. Very happy with the car and the dealer. |
