Am I safe to assume that the plastic trims, doors, dash etc are completely through coloured - not painted and I can give them some very aggressive cleaning.

I just used a Magic Sponge to clean the plastic on my doors and dashboard and the results are amazing, no hard scrubbing required and every thing came up like new . 2008 MY Supercharged

I have just used some of this on the top of my doors where there is ingrained dirt from elbows etc today.

Geoff- let rip with some bathroom cleaner. I did mine with some grim and lime remover over 12 months ago and there fine! Came up a treat but need cleaning again now. Just make sure you use loads of water to clean it off as long term might cause some issues. |

On plastics you'd be amazed what a normal nail brush and warm water with fair liquid can do. Discovery 4 HSE

Gave it a good scrub - passenger door came up a treat - like new. Drivers door is a whole different kettle of fish, it's been painted! I think maybe that the leather armrest/doorhandle was worn so that got a recolour, fine, but they have kept going and sprayed some of the door panel to maybe blend it in there is even overspray if you look closely. i'd avoid cellulose thinners, it dissolves certain plastics - to my cost - white spirits is ok on plastic, but not sure if it will remove dry paint. |

If it's on the plastics - and it's coloured right through, try duraglit (brasso). Land Rover Addict

+1 for autoglym leather cleaner for interior plastics, but baby wipes clean most day to day car grime up of the interior really well

Saw and bought a new complete door trim on fleabay for £100 - seemed like the shortest distance between two points - but thanks for all the advice |

Too good to be true, couldn't tell from the picture when it arrived the trim was stunning but finished entirely in leather so it didn't match the others - sent it back ![]() |
